  • It's weird with pixies songs. When I first heard this is wasn't a massive fan, yet I felt compelled to keep listening to it. Now I physically can't stop listening to it, its my favourite song yet. Such a mesmerising group, no band can ever compare.

  • the best.

  • @SergiFuss beetls

  • Should be Ron Paul's campaign song.

  • Still love this song, after hearing it for so many times, and so many years.

  • holy damn

  • SergiFuss, It's so crazy how I feel the same exact way about this song.

  • Despite it came to my ear years later, way later than the others, 'MTR' has grown to be one of my favourite Pixie's tunes by far. Beautiful lead guitar and piano, and very emotional ending as usual. What a band, God 45 hit-singles out of 50 songs, who can match that, NONE else

  • i really did have to drive on the motorway to roswell once, and yes "last night i could not make it" i was in the new mexico military institute from 92-95 and i really "started on the motorway" and yeah that part about "ending up in army crates" and there is a song on the same album called "the navajo know" and i'm navajo but i don't know...
