Operation Ambassador: 1940, March 11th

In 1940 German forces setup an airfield on this small island off the coast of Norway. British Commandos were tasked with eliminating it. (Inspired by a real mission from 1940)

Invasion 1944 is a historically accurate World War Two total conversion mod for ARMA 2: Combined Operations(ARMA2 + Arrowhead) centering on the European theater.

  • extreme autism

  • what resoultion are your vids recorded in?

  • @000000AEA000000 Supressors were also used by snipers, if not for "stealth actions", then to do not give away the position too quick. I know that the early FG42 had also a mount for some.

  • Hey Ho. Can't wait for the release. This mod already has alot of feeling. Are you guys also working on german supressors? Because the germans were also working on a number of experimental devices. For the MP for instance even a "Bullet-sack" existed, to do not leave back any bulletcases. The regular mauser also had experimental supressors and ajusted ammunition, the "Nahpatrone". Early productions of the G/k43 had also a mount for supressors.

  • @norwegianwiking good point... I didn't notice.

Had my brainactivity limited watching it. ^^

    but valuable point...

    Greetings from germany.

  • tsk tsk, 1940? Should be Thompsons. not stens. weren't around at that point.

  • will you transfer this mod into arma 3 ?

  • @usafisasome did it look like we survived long enough for a real part 2? heh we'll probably try to record some of the airfield assault and subsequent escape sometime over the holiday break :)

  • Wheres part 2?
