James Corden v Patrick Stewart on Rob Brydon Show

James Corden discussing his spat with Patrick Stewart on The Rob Brydon Show (Episode 2). Corden clearly wants to play down the spat, no doubt aware of the backlash against him for attempting to humiliate a much-loved, knighted, talented actor as Patrick Stewart. Although Stewart shouldn't have started the spat at the Glamour Awards ceremony, Corden equally should have held his own lip rather than attack Stewart so directly. It was all so very awkward.

He shouldnt have to bite his lip in the face of blunt rudeness. Sir Patrick deserves to be respected for acting but should be confronted when he steps out of line, i think its horrible. Corden looked extremely hurt, especially after personal comments about his weight, i think it's disgraceful. It took balls to stand up to such a clearly arrogant bully on television so fair play.

I've only just started getting into Corden; seen him in 'Telstar' and 'Lesbian Vampire Killers' and I think he's hilarious. He seems really innocent in this video... I think he comes across quite poncy in 'LVK' but saying that, I think he just wants to bring out a side where he shows he doesn't care what people say... I'm disappointed that Patrick Stewart had to bring Corden's weight into it...
