  • what a cynical comment precedes mine. This young man is fabulous, and wil be a great singer someday.. And, he is very handsome, too. I have sent this video to my American Jewish friends as a Passover "gift".

  • I totally agree with you. This song is a masterpiece and the boy is great now. I'm sure he could be perfect in some years. I love this song, it's a piece of history of Poland. So touchin'... Regards! :)

  • amazing, what this kid's name?

  • AMAZING!

  • I'm crying...

  • hes actually in his late 20s because this was shot in the mid 1990s when he was about 13

  • What a wonderful performance! Who cares if there are technical errors or the kid did not speak Yiddish growing up (to address comments left here)? I sang this song in a concert a month ago, and I am sure I made technical errors. In addition, as a goy I did not speak Yiddish growing up, but I worked hard with a native speaker on pronunciation. Still, maybe I made errors too. When you hear something so gorgeous--This kid has more talent than I do at 45--just enjoy the beauty of a timeless piece.

  • this kid has an awesome voice :D i know he's prolly like 40 now but awesome song :D my granny cries listening to this song :o

  • c'est trop beau,

  • Watch on the chorus of this song. They are from Belz, actually, I suppose.

  • Something tells me this Sfardishe kid did not speak Yiddish growing up.

  • He has impressive stage presence for someone so young. It's interesting to note that in this performance he sang very lightly using head resonance. Today he often 'chimes in' with his choir with impromptu harmonies in falsetto and/ or trumpet sounds with the same kind of voice.
