Not even close. If anything, it's closer to Bioshock, or Mass Effect.

Anywho, I just started playing this yesterday and I'm already on chapter 10. Pretty awesome game. Sure I fell through the elevator just now and had to redo the level I'm on but it's still a solid 9.0 so far in my eyes. That's 9/10 btw.

you obviously dont know what RE4 & Halo are

I have played them both and Dead space is not similar RE 4. If your referring to the Flood in Halo being similar to the monsters in Dead Space, that also is not a good comparison as there are way different. Eliminating Halo out of the pic, RE 4 is a totally different kind of story. That's about an infection. Dead Space is about An unknown alien species.
