ancienthebreworg ~ Curious about what you think about Duet 28:68, Psalm 83, Rev 2:9 and Rev 3:9. It would seem obvious that Y'shua and Yehudites are what we now call black , negroe or African American. Also the fact that Paul and Moses were mistaken for Egyptians among other... All you addressed though were clothing, talits, etc... Thoughts?

@ancienthebreworg About your comment that a helenized Bible is heresy, this is what I think.
The whole point of the Hebrew Bible is to 1) Reintroduce God into the world after our first parents disobeyed Him, and 2) Prepare the whole world for God's grace through Jesus Christ.
Coincidentally, or by divine providence, the classical Greeks (after Persian war, but before Alexander the Great) were geniuses of anthropology, and align with Jesus' teachings on humanity for the whole world.

@LVCIVSTVLLIVSATELLVS Jesus' quote has no bearing on Paul. The Apostles referred to in Acts 2 does not include Paul. The sole purpose of the book of Acts is to validate Paul, therefore Acts is just as suspect as Paul's own letters.
-
@ancienthebreworg of course not, that would be ridiculous.
Mt. 16:19- Jesus gives moral and doctrinal authority to Peter (and it's assumed to subsequent popes).
Acts 2:42- The early Christians held steadfast to the apostles
Acts 9:15- The Lord said Himself that Paul is chosen to teach Gentiles, kings, and Sons of Israel (N.B. SONS OF ISRAEL).
Acts was written by the same author who wrote the Gospel according to Luke

@LVCIVSTVLLIVSATELLVS Are these scriptures Paul defending Paul?
-
@LVCIVSTVLLIVSATELLVS I am a NT believer and believe in Jesus, if that makes me a Christian, then I am a Christian, but I do not except many other Christian doctrines such as the Trinity. If this is far as the discussion can go, I do have to say that I enjoyed the debate, thanks.

@ancienthebreworg All I can do at this point, if you want me to, is give scripture passages that shows Paul's authenticity.
-
@ancienthebreworg I am wondering whether you are Christian or not. I guess the only answer you can receive is based on your religion; I could give you my reason for belief that Paul's teachings are valid, but unless we share a common faith, this is as far as our discussion can go.
I enjoyed these series but I want to understand what the whole point is? Bible clearly states that everything was written so that we will believe in the one GOD the creator of heaven and earth has sent, and he's Jesus Christ.

@blackworldonline The main point of this video is to show that the NT was originally written in Hebrew and must then be understood from an Hebraic perspective and not a Greek one. These two cultures, Hebrew and Greek are as different as night is from day. So if we are reading the NT from a Greek perspective we will misinterpret the text.
