It's pointless taking your time after this because she's already dead really. At first, I thought it was scary, but when I played through it again, I was more annoyed because the game fools you into thinking you have 8 minutes, but really, you only have 6 of those minutes to save Jennifer.

I should mention I've seen nightmares that have connections to that scene. It was a stormy night, and I was in some sort of mansion. I was shouting:"Is anyone here?"
Some woman talks to me from behind in the shadows, "Yes, you're not alone." I turn around and then shit hits the fan!
She comes running at me, and when light hit her, she had that face when she is transformed completely. I woke up in total panic.

When I was 10 or 11 when I played this all alone in my basement. This scene came up and I remember I IMMEDIATELY dropped the controller and ran upstairs. I couldn't bear to look at it anymore. It was permanently burned into my brain. I kept seeing it when I closed my eyes to try and go to sleep. To this day, when I see it and hear it with that music it sends shivers down my spine and makes me look around my room nervously.
