@pstanberg No it was people tired of having something forced down our throats....they overdid it with the marketing...anytime you oversaturate the market with something, eventually the people will get sick of it and everything associated with it...If they would have simply kept it to the music, and not flooded the stores, the theatres, it would have been fine. The people behind the marketing really didnt care as long as they made their money, but the artist suffered by being associated with it.

YEAH, 70 thousand people burned disco records, and acted like SAVAGES in the process. Basically, this was a conspiracy started by (HICK) radio consultants, and white people who have NO RHYTHM (can't dance) and who's idea of dancing is jumping around like RETARDS ON LSD. Disco didn't persecute anyone. It was about fun, rhythm and melody,something rock doesn't have with its incoherent musical noise. Do a RAP SUCKS convention. Tell Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, Jay Z, that rap suck and SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
