Gee, tell that to my USAF husband who is embedded with an Army unit somewhere in Iraq. Oh wait! He is probably too busy putting on his body armour, checking over his weapon and getting ready to do God knows what. Yep, he sure is enjoying the good life over there. As a veteran of the USAF myself, please know not all jobs in air condidtioned offices. Who do you think loads your vehicles and gear onto those cargo planes when you deploy? We did. Hot ,cold, hungry,tired, 16 hour days sometimes.

@TheCottonTop Well if you're a college graduate and want to join because you want to fly I can see it that way. But I'm an enlisted member and joined because I wanted to join. We all have our choices what branches we want to join. I was in the Army and didnt like it so I switched over.

@heidi3thumbs Well atleast your not going to die loading cargo. I have heard of alot of Navy and USAF taking ground combat deployments out of nothing more than the call of duty to help our country. But lets face it, every one goes into the USAF either because they want to fly or they don't want to die, and some get bored with both.
