its the way he nods and smirks to himself that kills me. i actually love it. notice he's wearing driving gloves as well. it is brilliant that this character slipped through the process of making an ad without somehow becoming palatable. how they never noticed that this guy could never appeal to anybody, even the target audience for cadillac escalades. its almost as if he was created...on purpose...

Seriously????? 20 miles per gallon estimated??? That's it? Your Cadillac is way past it's prime. Design, styling, MPG's truly lacking in common sense that todays driver demands. You made an expensive tank that isn't welcome on the road.

For those who are slamming the "smug" guy, that is kind of the point. That is Brian Bloom, an actor who once played the Bandit tv series (as in Smokey and the Bandit). He is supposed to be smug. He is also extremely hot.

20 MPG? What an absolute disgrace. All those billions of dollars put into research, development and production and at the end of it all, 20 MPG? If my cheap little diesel car can get 82 MPG (or 68 miles per US gallon) then a hybrid should get over 100 MPG at least. 20 MPG in a hybrid, sounds like a punchline to a joke! TRY 68 MPG THATS BETTER AND I DON'T NEED ANY STUPID HYBRID TECHNOLOGY TO DO THAT! lol

it's not surprisingly seeing as the hybrid powertrain is attached to a 6.0 V8 petrol engine.
