She was suggesting a way of reducing unwanted adolescent pregnancies--a time in life she feels should be spent on higher learning, not child bearing and raising. She is coming from a background where single teenage mothers are a real problem. This video is cut in such a way that a person who doesn't look deeper into things would be left misinformed.

This is the intelligence level of our government in action for all to witness....that she got as far as she did......an unattractive woman telling a nation that to relieve sexual tensions, we should TEACH our children to do what SHE'S done all HER life. I don't see what the fuss was all about... I suppose she was partly right,

even if she *was* suggesting that it be discussed only in 8th grade or

beyond... *long* after at least a fifth of any students in such discussions

are already having sex with people besides themselves.

As long as it's not discussed before age 2-1/2 or so, it should be an open

topic (very few masturbators under the age of 3 can grasp the concept of

"discussion").
