It works on Pal, but not on Ntsc, I tried it recently. :(

Follow Kaneo's 181200 route to prepare the chest (run in the tunnel and climb the wooden ladder next to the red barrel).

I started the video on the wooden start, there's a shield ganado you won't encounter usually.

When you aim ganados who climb the ladder, stick against the guardrail and keep your body in front of the ladder, don't turn on the right, otherwise ganados will go round the crate. Just use the "C" stick to see ganados trapped in the glitch. XD

If ever a ganado doesn't run to you (it happens on Pal sometimes), just wait.

This strategy saves 5-15 seconds. :)

  • I've figured out how this works and I've been using the same strategy a LOT for knifing recently. Enemies want to be in front of you, so they will move to the front and right before attacking you. It's very handy in tight spaces. That's also how the stupid zealots trick works (backing up in circles and having them swing at you and try to grab you).

  • The same kind of glitch appears in WW, when we prepare the first chest : when we climb the ladder and go next to the chest, if we look the ganados below, they are trapped behind the red barrel. :)

  • Wow, that looks so easy to prepare the 2nd chest. Nice find! Maybe I can try it on my Wii version. :)

  • It works for sure. I don't know about NTSC, but on Pal/Jpn/Wii it works 90% of times. Sometimes a ganado comes from the steel ladder and isn't trapped in the glitch zone. So just let him hit you, then use a flashbang.

  • Nice find! Glitches like this are awesome. ^_^

And is that Dave Brubeck? It sounds like it.

  • I don't know, but the title is "Bach à la jazz", a song from the french animation movie "Les Triplettes de Belleville".

    It's a great adaptation, isn't it ? :D

  • Okay, so THAT'S where I heard it. I thought it sounded familiar.
