"Man with a Movie Camera" is the fourth album by "The Cinematic Orchestra". It is the soundtrack to a re-released version of the (then ground-breaking) 1929 silent documentary film, "Man with a Movie Camera" from Russian director Dziga Vertov.

I am so fascinated by this film. I think it captures the essence of everyday life brilliantly, even though it was filmed decades ago. The soundtrack by Cinematic Orchestra also complements it so perfectly. One of the most interesting things I have ever watched.

there is no original soundtrack. this is a silent film which would have been accompanied by live music in theaters. countless musicians have written scores for this film, I think this is a quality effort.. cinematic orchestra; does what it says on the tin.

An hour in is the best part. This was filmed in 1929 which is remarkable, celebrating the machine aesthetic. Check out this movie's promotional movie poster made by the fabulous Stenberg Brothers.

I don't know the adjectives I could use to describe it fully.
Talking about feelings is like dancing about architecture.
