The tashahhud, the sitting portion of prayer, is a powerful and focal part of salah, the Muslim's prayer.
However, since many Muslims are unable to understand Arabic, the beauty of the tashahhud is sadly lost for people who can be benefiting from it everyday.
AbdulNasir Jangda, instructor for Bayyinah Institute, delivers a word-for-word analysis of the tashahhud, explains its background and variations, and gives a preview of his full course on the meaning of every word in salah, Meaningful Prayer.

AOA. Why hasnot Abdul Nasir Jangda mentioned that the tashahhud was a dialogue between Allah the Creator and His Prophet (SAW) on the occasion of Mairaj. That would give the wordings a different depth.
