@Ithinkthisworks He can still sing though... Check out Whole Lotta Love with Chester at Camp Freddy, it's good, I still think he's talented, still better than popular music now.
This performance might sound a bit whiney, but it's not like he's a whiney person in general

The music that is whiney and screeched out you are looking for is screamo, and THAT is shit, Chester Bennington is doing what is called a fry scream, not extreamly difficult to learn, but still tricky, he has an amazing singing voice as well and a very wide range, you can sometimes hear more than one voice at the same time when he sings or does the fry scream, but yea, the drummer does suck, but Chester is in no way whiney.

Too bad this sounds like shit. The drummer is off half the time and Chester sounds like a whiny bitch. You kids need to learn how to distinguish music that actually corresponds with rhythm and tone rather than music that is just screeched out.

Linkin Park is my favourite band and Chester is my favourite vocalist, and for good reason, they don't get enough credit for how good they are, best live performance I've seen was them live, by FAR

@firedevotion Meh the singer in Smashing Pumpkin sounds like shit to me. Yeah he's got "original" voice but that won't help if it doesn't sound good. Chester's voice sounds a lot better IMO and as you can hear his screams are fucking deadly and more professional compared to the original singers fail attemps at the scream parts.
