Belle Aventure

There are 100 Fife yachts still in existence and only about fifty are still sailing. At the end of last year, Belle Aventure became the first Fife to grace our completely redesigned and environmentally controlled large yacht facility here at Boothbay Harbor Shipyard.

Just back from a weekend sailing to Block Island where Belle Aventure graced our presence. The gracious owner gave up precious time with his family to give us a personal tour of the ship. She's a truly lovely piece of cabinetry with the backbone to sail round the world! The tour was a special gift on a memorable weekend. Safe passages to you, Mike!

I worked as a deckhand on belle avventure in the very early nineties. it had just had a major refit before i joined the crew. it's nice to see she is looked after with the utmost care. she'll be sailing for centuries. a beautiful vessel indeed. i'd love to see her again.

im a college student attending siena college who lives in port ewen, ny. i own a sailboat moored on the rondout creek in kingston, ny. and for weeks i would kayak right passed this magnificent yacht docked at the Kingston Maritime Museum every day to get to my boat and had no idea how important she actually is, incredible ship. what i'd give to help crew her.
