  • Yeah it was simplified to the point where any Tom, Dick, or Harry could pick up a mic, play the guitar or drums....because you didn't really need any "real" talent!!!!. BADLANDS was not a glam band. The lead singer wore leather pants sometimes (no spandex). They didn't wear any make-up either....they didn't need to. This kind of rock will never fade.....it's still around and will remain so. It's like a fine wine....it only gets better with time!!! Long Live The Real Rock n' Roll!!!!

  • How can you not love the 80's music? Best damn music ever!!

  • @shellyarden1

jerry cantrell and chris cornell have no talent?

sounds like your smoking some strong stuff....what your saying about badlands is true though...they kick ass and are really underrated....but come on...dont be so biased

    whoa whoa whoa

i agree that this song kicks some serious ass...but by the time 89 rolled around this type of music was fading out and becoming really recycled........the grunge movement was VERY necessary....it simplified rock and established the fact that you dont have to wear spandex and eyeliner to be rock and roll. the glam thing died in 89 but it had been played out since the early 70s.
