Also, i read Matimeo a while ago, and the tv show doesnt help to clarify this? What's the deal with Slagar's mask, does it not have eye-holes? Or are they just creepily small, cuz not having eye-holes makes Slagar somehow reminiscent of Rorschach from Watchmen who was badass in his own world, so, just wondering. If his mask has no eyeholes, then that's just kewl and hilarious, LAWL

Matimeo is by far my favorite book in the series, and Slagar does a lot to help that fact. In most of the other books all you have is some lame-ass warlord, who is in fact either a coward or a lunatic, and he has a giant army, and the woodlanders are at first utterly unprepared, but then tehy band together, travel around, pick up some allies, and defeat teh villain. BORING. Matimeo however, with the slave-trade and Malkaris's creepy villainous plans for the world, very unique plot, awesome!

Perfect fit for the fox! Slagar was best at deception an screwing with creatures minds..not to much at fighting though.
