Suspension Flex Tester

We have built this as a display for the Billing Land Rover show 2011. X-Eng makes a number of suspension components including an unlockable anti-roll bar. It's difficult to show how it operates on a static display - so we thought of this! It uses a remote control 2000Lb winch to pull down either side. It seems to work rather well! Come and see it at one of the shows!

At the start where I say "And this is with it unlocked", I'm referring to the X-Deflex, unlockable anti roll bar. When it's locked, almost all the articulation happens on the front end. Unlocked, the front barely moves while the rear articulates freely.
