Hot 97 Freestyle #5 - Flavor Flav and The Rapper N'Gar On Mic Check Show 1995

My days as a wannabe MC. I always thought that I had the lyrics (still do), but my MC skills were not the greatest.

This is from NYC's Hot 97 radio from 1995 when The Furious Five had their own radio show called "The Mighty Mic Check Show" or "The Mic Check Show." This show allowed the public to call in and do their thing. I called in a good 6 times and I will put them up as I go through the tapes.

Many times I got nervous, but my lyrics were raw and clever. Listen carefully to the science behind the lyrics...

On this one, I was well relaxed and comfortable with the format. I cut loose and actually did this off the top of my head... You can tell they knew my voice by now... Flavor Flav was on this one and he was cool. I forgot I did this one! This was before Flavor of love...
