@MrsJoanJett I'm sorry. Listen, I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I'm a big Joan Jett fan too. I not only appreciate her music, I respect her decisions of not brodcasting her sexuality, whether gay or straight. I'm a lesbian. Joan tends to project "gay vibes" just by observing her demeanor. (I understand not all straight women are feminine and not all gay women have the "rocker look.") That's why I was wondering if she is gay. So, I'm sorry if I offended you in anyway.

@MrsJoanJett Yeah, I'm still wondering. I know it's no one's business. You've made your point already. Can't I just say I'm just wondering?

@kitty2ism Rebel! Rebel against your mother's wishes! If you wanna play electric guitar, do it! Rock 'n' roll, girl! Rock 'n' roll!
-
@MrsJoanJett Ahem. I said I was kidding. And of course, I respect her decision of keeping her business to herself whether she's gay or not.

What is that crap about writing "I Love rock n roll?"
She never did any such thing.
It was Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker.
This is pathetic.

where do you get the foam and badding?

@axeaquestion I know you wrote this a long time ago but I was glad you provided the info that you did. Joan does seem to be a humble, nice person.
I love her, but Joan Jett sidestepped and was disingenuous when Todd said she "wrote I love rock and roll". She covered the song. It was written and first released by The Arrows in 1975.

Yeah, I think she should've given The Arrows credit. Still a great video.
