We came across a group of dorks on inner-tubes on the upper Mississippi. they thought we would just go around. Flipped one in the wake.

Good job on keeping your cool. what was the shaking was that the pusher going in to full reverse thrust?

Thanks for sharing, I boat on the UMR near Louisiana, Mo. on a 38' rec boat, I stay as far away as possible from the tows. I can't imagine anyone stupid enough to want to get close. Did the rec boat call you on the VHF ?

thanks for posting this great video. good luck. wow.

Are you getting rich in that line of work? I thought I'd do OK being an aircraft mechanic but that didn't turn out to be true. Everyone HATES aircraft mechanics and stole our pensions and slashed our pay. Now I am in my 50's and don't have a house and no pension. That's it. Game over. How are things in the marine trades?

I live here and see them get in you guys way all the time thru that section. It ain't much fun off of Annapolis or in Long Island sound either

This is true even up on the upper Ohio. I work a little boat and usually only have one piece at a time and they still don't get out the way. I think they need to take the same test we do to run a boat out here.

i go through the same thing all the time in florida, blow 5 wissles and hope for the best. not every one who own a boat is a fool but every fool owns a boat
Core creek is on the Atlantic ICW, just above Morehead City, NC. Looks like a PCS boat? Danny/Tug Taft Beach

Boy the pucker factor had to be high on those. I am assuming this is a permanent cam on a loop DVR for such instances. Thanks for posting

They're reupholstering the pilot's chair now. No but seriously, no, that was just my new little MiniDV camcorder on a tripod mounted on the chart table behind me. I thought landlubbers might find it interesting to see what it's like going through a bridge like that. Had no idea it would get that interesting.
