Zen Master Seung Sahn's teaching documentary "Wake up! On the Road with a Zen Master". A professional and entertaining documentary that captures Zen Master Seung Sahn's energy while presenting the core of his teaching. Wake Up! is not only a rare portrait of an unusual and provocative teacher, but also an introduction to Zen Buddhism today. Wake Up! was shot on location during a teaching trip in Europe by award-winning independent filmmaker Brad Anderson from Boston.

Suffering can never be a teacher. It only perpetuates ignorance. Thus, one's needs to be awakened by a teacher which is knowledge of one's nature in order to be free from suffering due to ignorance. One can suffer forever without knowing because suffering can never be a teacher. In fact, there are people who are obsessed with suffering and considered it as their reality.

  • I don't know if you've found your answer to this question yet, but my advice is to help when you help and let things be when you let them be. these questions do not change your actions, have faith in yourself.
