When I hit the ball (forehand) sometimes it goes high like a lob would. Please help

@BloopV my coach back in the day also travels on the atp tour and a rule he taught us was....of coarse top spin is the way to hit the ball with more pace with out worrying that it will go in the net and out the baseline, but the thing is you have to keep the ball high. when the players practice on tour they only sometimes have one ball on court. they keep the ball high with allot of top spin. about 2 meters above the net is sufficient

Who is the tallest Tennis player?

Im right handed, is it important to step through with the back leg (right)? My coach says i have to hit the ball and follow with like my hip and right leg, this feels really un-natural and uncomfortable. Do you have a video of how the feet should work just before, while, and after hitting the ball? thank would be really helpful. thanks

You're not following through. Remember to continue to swing the racquet after contact, turn over your wrist, and end with the racquet over your other shoulder and elbow facing the opposite court. Easier said than done!

@xuzm bend your knees deeper

Topspin! It sounds like you are hitting too flat. Search for "creating topspin on your forehand." That video might help you. Make sure to watch it in high definition!

in the ww fh video you said that you think of ur fh as if u are trying to hit the ball with the frame...

Ya that's true. This is a "classic" forehand - you swing through the ball much more than you do on a WW.
