@KumAiKoChiRei However, since Kingdom Hearts, her name has been translated as Aerith in her appearances such as Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, meaning that the Aeris name has been retconned.

@xPhiieebeex In the original Japanese version of Final Fantasy VII, her name is Aerith, but it was translated as Aeris in the English version by SCEA. This is because the Japanese language doesn't have the "th" sound, and the closest thing is "su," the equivalent of the English-language "s" sound. The translators were mistaken when they spelled her name in English, and took the "su" sound in her Japanese name to mean an "s."

in japan she is called "Aerisu" since there's no TH in japan
the people who translates it made a mistake by naming Aerith "AERIS"
They replaced Aerith's name in KH to Crisis Core games to make up for their mistake

It's already out for Blu Ray only and I'm NOT spamming this but if anyone wants it, I'll PM them a link to self ripped clips myself ^^;; It took me weeks so I'm trying to give it to as much people as possible :D Anyways yup, it's in America and I can give ya'll the download for the DVD (FOR THE DVD PLAYER, YES) as well as just the clips :D

It's okay for it to come out on blue ray but it's not okay for it not to be release in anything else such as the dvd if the creators are trying to claim it as a replacement for the old one which came out in DVD. Not everyone wants a ps3 or a blue ray player. I just want to movie. That's all.
