@BubbaCasper this isnt the rest of the world, Here in California 40k is near POVERTY level. Why do people always hate on people who make more than them? 1/2 of america is not suffering. I cannot think of ONE SINGLE private industry sector that isn't. Allowing the public sector to form unions is also a form of bailout/credit expansionary policy. I believe that Bart workers should earn a fair wage, I do, but 60-70K per year entry level is what they are honestly making, which I find extremely unfair to other taxpayers. I work 60 hours a week in a high stress environment for $40K out of school with a business degree and am facing layoffs. Fair?

Bart workers make me so sick! I actually applied for a job as a BART security guard after graduating from college; didn't get it though.. Instead, I'm now working in the lowsy high tech industry which doesn't pay nearly as well..
I am so confused as to the invisible hand here..? Why go to college? Why even try in America? The real money seems to be made through coercion and unionization of important public utilities.
