This is a marble machine I built during the course of one month (mid January - mid February 2010).
I included some slow motion clips and details of the mechanisms.
It has 3 elevating mechanisms:
-A large and small disc embedded on the same piece of wood.
-An antigravity Disc (Uses Neodymium magnets)
-A set of stairs
Everything is powered manually although I intended to motorize it (you can see a white plastic gear somewhere in there) but couldn't find a motor strong enough to do it.
Notice that the stairs use a sinusoidal curve to thrust the marble up, I find this to be a more efficient (in terms of speed) way of making them instead of the traditional two by two.
Also notice the "switch" in the loading part of the antigravity disc, it prevents to marbles to go up at the same time.
I designed, cut, carved and glued everything by myself, I hope you like it :)

@omgflyingbanana Most of it is MDF, except for the stairs and some other parts which are made of plywood.
