A quick demo of my Dad's broken old Ferrograph Reel to Reel tape recorder converted into a small guitar amp. The internal speaker is pretty quiet so for this video I plugged the speaker output into the speaker of my Mesa Studio .22 amp.

For the muso's and techies, the amp is powered by 3 EF86 valves in the pre-amp with a single El-84 in the Power amp. All the original Mullards of course :o)


Recorded with just my old Panasonic Lumix digital camera so apologies for the less than stellar sound quality. The guitar guitar is a Squier '51
