Nawal Al Zoghbi: A Disney Princess?! [SCOOP/MBC]

The Arabic beauty and superstar Nawal Al Zoghbi was recently nominated by the official representative of the well-known Walt Disney Company, Masria Meida, to be the singing voice of princess Tiana in the Arabic version of the animated movie The Princess and the Frog.

The Walt Disney Compandy and Masria Media told the press that the nomination of the beautiful and talented Arabic singer Nawal Al Zoghbi was based on the similiarities between the voice of Anika Noni Rose, who performs the English version of Tiana in the Movie The Princess and the Frog, and Nawal Al Zoghi.


If Nawal Al Zoghbi agrees to sing and perform the Arabic version of princess Tiara from The Princess and the Frog (Walt Disney), the superstar would be the first Arabic singer that take part at such a Hollywood movie with Walt Disney / Masria Meida and an artist from Lebanon. In former times such projects only took place between Masria Meida and artists out of Egypt.

Also princess Tiana from the Walt Disney Movie The Princess and the Frog is the first movie in history of Disney with a black princess as the main actor of a movie.

It would be really great if the wonderful Nawal Al Zoghbi would take the role as the Arabic voice of princess Tiana.
