Firefall had a few hits in the 70's and were big in Colorado where I lived at the time. The Greatest Hits albumn is an easy listen. This is supposed to be written for an ex-girlfriend I guess but it always makes me think of the people who I had to let go as a supervisor and as an owner in my current business.

  • Firefall was a great band and definitely NOT a soft rock band live. They did this as a full blown rocker and a couple of bands I played with used it as a set closer. Killer! The flute was from David Muse. He also played keys. Jock, the lead player still has them going. One of Colorado's all time great bands.

  • @Horemheb442 - Yes the lead guitar was prominent enough to rock out. Heheh, reminds me of an America concert I went to in the 70's, they jammed "Sandman" for 15 minutes. Do you use the same chords and fingerings? Thanx for listening, hope you enjoyed.

  • im not sure if it was original members or not.....i really had never heard of them.....we just was tired and was sitting at a free stage that was packed with people they came on and just rocked the joint....i can not remember the song but one guy played the flute and it was amazing.....they all were 1st rate performers and musicians.....and once again nice cover

  • @curbshoppin - Cool! Yes that flute was nice and seperated them from all the other bands

  • @othercousin Actually I am a drummer who sings. So the fingering...well, you know. I did enjoy it, by the way.

  • Great job! Not an easy one to do, but you do it well. You have the same passion for this song as I do. ROCK ON!!!

  • @Hippie1944 - I had a feeling you would remember this one. Thanx for listening & commenting
