TRON 2.0 Walkthrough, Part Eleven

Part Eleven

Me & Ma3a arrive at a place called "The Net" which is one of the many Hubs in the Internet. We search for a Compiler Program, only to have swarms of Z-Lots (coincidentally) attack the "city". We soon go into the Progress Bar, find a High-Level Compiler Program and get everybody's opinion on what song the DJ would like to play. I soon get called by "Guest" to an I/O Node only to find out that we must NOT compile the TRON Legacy Code.

SWEET!!!!! Thanks for posting, Oniell. Question: So in the world of TRON 2.0, when Jet wants to get around to different points in the internet, he just walks into a data stream? Reason I'm asking, is I'm writing a fanfic and a little short film and was thinking of ideas of how programs could get around the internet. Also, are there usually guard programs at the data stream entry ports? I played a TRON 2.0 Demo, and it BLEW MY MIND!!!!!!! I wish Legacy looked more like this!

@chj2 You're welcome. I looked on the TRON-Wiki and did'nt find any definite answers, so this won't be exactly what it is in TRON 2.0 cannon. I believe that Programs travel within Computers by Lightcycle, Recognizer or Solar Sailer. But to travel long-distance from device to device or deeper part of a machine, they enter a Data Stream. Now, I would suspect the Kernal would have ICP's guarding the ports like you said. But, at the time of this game, he's probably short on units...
