great danes are really easy to train to be patient...my dane will not touch his food until i use a command word that i taught him...i can lay a snack on the edge of the coffee table with his nose just inches from it and no matter how great the snack is he will not touch it until i say...O.K.

well I ask because Ive been thinking about getting a great dane! and if you dont have any available anytime soon thats fine. its worth the wait to avoid puppy mills

We like to go pretty much by Cesar Millan, with a few modifications. Great danes are so naturally smart, its pretty easy.They usually get in with a few to five days. And spend lots of time with them! Thanks for the good comments!

Thanks! We are a very small breeder, and only breed every 1 1/2 to 2 years each female.
