The GS 450h delivers the performance of a modern 4.5-liter V8 with the fuel efficiency of a 2.0-liter four cylinder. Emissions are close to 80 percent cleaner than those of an average car, and the noise level during electric-mode operation is one-half of that during normal engine operation. Finally, the acceleration from 0 to 60 mph is as quick as a Porsche 911 with an automatic transmission.
