@leniuch Also wanted to add, that for those who think Irish people have nothing to be angry about, please read about how "lovely" English Protestants treated Irish Catholics in their own land, bloody sunday etc. Learn the history and you shall understand why the queen is a person non-grata for the people in the video. British people especially should understand Irish nationalists, cause British folks themselves don't consider themselves as a part of Europe. And don't like EU neither, so think.

I'm always amused at violent protests like this - anyone who understands anything of how the British treated the Irish is either not fussed because the oppression ended a long time ago, or is sat at home peacefully grumbling to themselves. Meanwhile, idiots who have seen an excuse to riot take to the streets in the name of the Irish people - much to the bemusement and embarrassment of the Irish people themselves.

As an Irishman I find these comments disgraceful, the past is the past and we need to move on and build bridges with the UK, pretty much every country has been enemies at some point in history... Europe anyone? Why can't we be close allies with the UK just like the USA and the UK, two countries which also have a bad past.
