elektron octatrack jam after one week

I received my octatrack exactly one week ago, here is my first jam using it o//

- intro & outro filtered with xone vf1 (the blue button on the bottom left)
- some juno 106 on input A-B triggered with a thru machine and sequenced in Ableton Live in the begginig and at the end.
- very little out of sync 909 directly mixed on inputs C-D
- a lot of tracks have their own time signatures / lengths

nice video! so you sequenced the the juno in live and imported the midi to the octatrack?

@hydrogxn at the time (February 2011) the OT didn't have midi sequencing capabilities yet, it was like 6 month before the release of OS 1.0 so in order to sequence the juno i just slaved Ableton live to the OT and made the midi sequence in Live

Are all those filter sweeps being done by the octatracks filter or are they already on the samples?

@aikighost except for the filter on the whole mix (wich is the xone vf1) all the filtering on the samples and on individual parts comes from the octatrack internal fx

Love it. Its sacriledge but you don't need the 909 (got one) but an xoxio maybe. It funks for me, great work.
