Gary Barlow paid a surprise visit to a 12-year-old boy in hospital, to present him with a Pride of Britain award.

The Take That star visited Jake Peach at London's Great Ormond Street Hospital after finding out he had recovered from a coma by singing Take That songs.

Jake sang the band's hit Patience as he was coming out of a month-long coma, giving his mother Karen hope that he was getting better.
