Dale would have rather good archery units, since they're tied to Bard the Bowman, and some even call themselves Bardings. In the War of the Ring, Dale didn't fight alone either, they fought side by side with the Dwarves of Erebor.

@POLORAS Yes and no... The ruins of ancient Dale will be seen, but any reestablished Kingdom of Dale we see will be extremely new. We'll see Lake-Town extensively though which appearance should be close to what the Men of Dale would look like during the time of the ring.
