Yeah, Tina does recall this performance as the lowest point in her musical career. Having read her book makes it kinda hard to look at this. She made a helluva rebound though. Go Tina!!!

Tina is so classy in her performances. So, I know this was humiliating to her to carry this out. Tina, if you ever read this, I apologize to you! Thanks for rising above personal tragedies and surviving it all!! It makes me want to overcome the obstacles I face. To those of you who think this is funny----where is your mother? I don't think you would want to see your mom degraded in this manner.

@sanggurl16 I heard that she hated it too but I saw a live performance of this song that she did in the 80's (w/o Ike's influence) with all the deep breathing, so I don't know what to think.

She puts on such a good show that its hard to believe that she hated preforming this song.

It was funny after this because Mike had the look on his face, "I got to follow THAT" and he said condescendingly and sexist "nice to have a chick sometimes" Mick was JEALOUS.
