Gateway has an irritating habit of giving different model numbers to different colors of the same notebook. The red one is the EC1433u while the black one is the EC1435u.

I came across this computer while searching for netbooks. It has the portability (or "portableness"!) and lack of CD/DVD that you usually see in netbooks, but a bit more oomph for just a bit more money. For instance, it's only $60 more than the LT2118u netbook, but has twice the RAM and a bigger screen plus an HDMI port.
