seeing SY (2005 Nurse tour, 'the Venue'- Istanbul) got me in a 2000 crowd which weird enough got very very intimate as long as the show ran!

quite a thing, and only the Yoof could do this kind of thing.

i would see sonic youth in any venue, any country, anywhere possible. they are too good. in small places the rich asshole ppl wont usually appear who want to hear the latest and hottest hits like in big shows they do

I don't think so, i prefer big shows, Sonic Youth is not Nirvana, i mean, Nirvana with less than 100 people is an awesome and crazy show, the croud get crazy, but Soni Youth is a diferente style.

I saw SY perform Daydream Nation & encores from Rather Ripped including this song in Brooklyn last summer. Big crowd. This is a great performance, but knowing the crowd is so small makes me a little sad...
