The Folk Music Center was Ben's maternal grandparents' music store. I think Ben owns the place now.
I've met Joel Harper, Ben's brother, when I visited the shop a few years ago, that was cool to meet such a nice guy :)

I really wanted to share this wonderful performance from Ben Harper (I emailed the Folk Music Center if I could put that online but didn't get any answer so I hope it's "ok"...)

@legodread ...Ben play this tune in drop D tuning, just drop the lower E string to D, that's it... he might also be a bit out of tune too, to fit his voice that evening maybe (Ben joue ce morceau avec la corde de Mi grave descendue en Re, c'est tout :-)
