@franklludwig, i do remember (and always will), beside tommy james they were my favorites musicians in this period... despite i've rather been into "serious" rock-music like zep, the who, yes a.s.o. ;-)

loved and still love them as well as other legends from the sixties and seventies. when its my weekend off i sometimes get the headphones on and listen all night, despite my wife...lol

great as usual davedee and co having fun on stage....the sixtys artists were a class apart and always looked happy playing there music,thats why many are still performing today,,,not like the miserable young bands of today who look like they hate what there doing and never last. in the longevity stakes and im not surprised...............

After having loved their music since I was a child, I finally got to see them in Hamburg (around 2001, I think). It was the first time (and the only time so far) I saw a horsewhip being played as a percussion instrument!
One of the greatest bands ever - nobody remembers their name today, but as soon as you hum one of their tunes, everybody still knows it.
