Chorus Chords:

B: x24400
F#maj: 244300
Gmaj: 355400
E: 022100
(then)
D: 2x0232
?: x48700
?: x37600 (for one strum)
E: 022100

A pretty detailed lesson on Stranger Things Have Happened by The Foo Fighters. It's one of their newer songs; I'm a big fan of this one.

I know some people play the verse by plucking two strings at once for certain parts.. this is just how I prefer to play it.

  • @nez191 I learned it a little by ear and a little through various tabs!

  • what is the strumming pattern for the chorus???

  • @WolfV123 Almost all just down strumming to the rhythm, nothing too fancy. You can add a little extra here and there if you want.

  • the strum pattern is it just down??

  • @ladysweets93 Most of the time, yes.

  • I prefer the two plucking method. Gives it more texture.

    Good lesson otherwise.

  • It's true, that method can sound pretty cool. Sometimes I like to play it this way for the first verse or two, then bring in the two-plucking method later on.. kind of building up.

  • Great Teacher man! good job! thanks a lot

  • Thanks!

  • muy buen tutorial eres un maestro!!! muchas gracias, eres muy talentoso

  • great tutorial man. did you learn the chords by ear?

  • i think ?1 should be a F#maj (which should be x44200 and not 244300 so it isn't a F#maj) and the ?2 should be a FM7b5add5/C(used chord namer xD) x33200

This is also much easier to play

Like so every body can see :)

  • you sure you said that right? Your finger is on fret 4 and 7, not 4 and 8 (at 5:16). I tried 4 and 8 and it is nearly impossible to get--especially having one finger on 8 and 7 simataneously. Just wondering :)

  • Informative! Do yuo recommend any tabs online for this song though? Sometimes they can help extra :)
