The capture card is the Blackmagic Intensity Pro. This is an internal capture card that uses PCI Express. It is 200 dollars.

When capturing, I used the Blackmagic Media Express capture software that comes with the card. It captures to the MJPEG format. I take these clips and put them in Sony Vegas Pro 8.

After editing, I exported it using the MainConcept AVC/AAC mp4 filetype and adjusted the settings for 1280 by 720, 60fps, progressive scan, 1.0 pixel aspect ratio, and a constant bit rate of 10,000,000 bps. Audio is 44,100 Hz and 256,000 bps.

@darkreaper500 No, you can't. Look up PCI express card on google and learn some of the basics of installing a card in your computer before anything else.

Question about the Blackmagic: I got mine today and started recording (720p 59.94) , about 15 sec in i get a message pop up saying something like dropped frames. What does this mean? I can't playback video after the 1st 15 sec, it just freezes. Any way around the frame dropping?

Dropped frames mean your computer or your hard drive isn't able to keep up with the capture. So make sure you have the capture format set to MJPEG in the Media Express program. You might be trying to capture in uncompressed which you need a RAID array to do.
