best player in captain tsubasa is taro misaki and hikathu mathuyama as there were the backbone of japenese team

Misugi was best. Not just in terms of playing ability but he could read team strategies from the stands as well. He was a part of the Japan management team afaik.

@strawhatzk Tsubasa however beat him during WY and Roa to 2002. Although Naturezza managed to draw against him in En La Liga in an epic match

@LouAu I don't think so, especially in further series of manga. In Captain Tsubasa world youth saga only Natureza (not even Santana) surpass Tsubasa.

true , misugi has heart problem , you say if he hasnt , he will better than they , but , tsubasa will fire the team , and his team win again.

It's always Great when someone appears, is better than the main characters but for some reason has a limitation to give his best. This separates the best series and the so so. And Misugi was the one for "Captain Tsubasa"
