Obama and the Dems falsely reached out to Republicans in order to cover their asses when this country goes broke. They WILL need someone to blame. Reconciliation? Oh yes, complain when Repubs did it, and then act like little children and say we can do it now too. Reconciliation IS a way to circumvent the Constitution, whether used by Repubs or Dems. The Health bill will leave this country broke after year ten. Cleaver manipulations to move the cost beyond the10 year CBO period is crriminal

What preening leftists cannot seem to grasp is that free economies will, in the long run, outperform slave economies and result in a higher standard of living for everyone, particularly the poor. Slave economists think that wealth redistribution will magically solve all of their problems. And they do, for a few decades. Then the system collapses under its own weight. Meanwhile, a free economy creates real wealth for everyone.

Political Science 101 will teach you that to have a functional democracy both parties must be able to trust each other. By trusting each other, I mean to be able to make a tough descision or cast a tough vote and TRUST that the other side won't use it against them in the next election to get elected.
