This big-screen adaptation of playwright Terrence McNally's Broadway hit revolves around the tender bonding of eight gay Manhattanites. Over time, the men meet at a picturesque lakeside country getaway to share stories, reminiscences and their fears about commitment, the omnipresent specter of AIDS and life in general. Jason Alexander (George from TV's "Seinfeld") stars.
Justin Kirk is great in this movie. I love him so much, and he was brilliant in Angels in America.

I love that line James says when Perry says they could be the last 8 people on Earth, and James says " Not if you are with the right 8 people." That's really sweet.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! Currently reading the play; it's just as beautiful. I will say this one thing: I would rather see Randy Harrison (Justin from Queer As Folk) as Bobby and Tiger Tyson as Ramon. That's who I see when I'm reading the play LOL.

A pesar de tener la posibilidad de ver un chico guapísimo en bolas (Randy Beckerque interpreta a Ramon), los demás son un grupo de viejas y deterioradas locas, además la trama resulta también bastante intrascendente y soporífera.
