@pureroyalty2010 The album was "Heed the Call" released in 1979; available in MP3 @ Amazon. Hope this helps.

Which album is this originally from? Why I asked this is because I have the 2 CD collection that's pictured above.Good compilation!

my mom had this album, and i would sneak it up to my room and play it over and over again, these songs bring back so many good memories, as a teen my mom and grandparents had me in church every time the doors were open, when i was 16 my mom gave me the choise to go to church or not, i didn't go back, i'm 44 now and i miss it so much that these songs bring tears to my eyes..... thanks for posting

Are the references to the "Old Man's Rubble" intended for the Roman Catholic Church, or general secular issues that might distance one from Christ in any faith?

Thank you so much for uploading this. I love this song.

I remember my church youth group playing this song with the counselors acting it out like they were on MTV, dressed up as a bunch of hobos. They were trying really hard to relate to us but it was pretty weird, badly rehearsed if at all and basically very sad. Obviously it didn't work. Glad you posted it, I always thought it was by Petra and now I can complete the stories I have been writing about my childhood.

@nibornna My favourite group as a young christian was the Imperials. I had two of their vinyl albums way back then in the 1980's, and have not stopped purchasing their music ever since.
