Gara Ser Nèw Bétesh - Tèshomé Meteku

This song is about being young and in love and not grasping the opportunaties you're given in life.

It's about a poor boy who falls in love with his best friend, but he's affraid to tell her because then he might loose her friendship

During wartime they are separated and the boy leaves home to get infirmation of her whereabouts

Years later he finds her married to another man and he wishes he'd had the courage to approach her love back then.

He also gets married to have peace in his heart, but he knows his feelings for her never leaves him.

  • The song has a hidden sexual meaning. It is about touching a girl's entin. He deires to play with her ... but it is unreachable.. He also talkes about "Yeqey bisil Fire" = red-ripe fruit.. May be my sick mind is playing a game with me.

  • @ggirum definitely ur sick mind. I've always liked this music now you just ruined it for me and many others.

  • @Rinjingin7 right...

  • comments like these are unnecessary just enjoy the music - why does a music video bring up these conversations? it's ridiculous...Ethiopians/Eritreans, do not pay any mind to people who try to define who we are it is pointless and shameful on their part

  • @WupeViasco Fact? Whos facts are these? We have our own written language which predates any european or arab language. Yemen was a Ethiopia territory twice, which would mean we were not in alliance with arabs. You think from a very western perspective. Whos to say the dna didnt root Ethiopia? Ethiopia has never been colonized. So this mixing/outside orgin theory is failed. We are 100% African. Ethiopia has been metioned in the bible were other countries are not or have died out. This is fact.

  • @BahreNeGash

How can I admit to something i never said? I never said Ethiopians were whites.

They dont care, yet they comment on my video and watch it? They even agree.

I dont know what the denial is for, there is too much evidence to prove so. Look at our language, culture, and DNA... You be the judge Mr. Shabia

Ethiopians are Africans, but have origins outside of Africa, and that is fact.
