His Name is BOBBIKINS but they call him BOBBY for short.

BOBBY was born in Quezon City, Philippines to Bert and Teena. He spent his childhood in a place famous for Pancit Malabon, a suburban town called Malabon (now a City and part of Metro Manila).

In fact, BOBBY went to St. James Academy (a school administered by the Maryknoll Sisters) in Malabon, Rizal for his early education. While in grade school, BOBBY went to different schools:

Arellano Memorial College - Grade Three
Manuel Luis Quezon University - Grade Four

Bobby finished his elementary course in Tañong Elementary School.

In his teen, BOBBY along with his parents and siblings moved to Quezon City. He went to GSIS Village High School for his secondary course.

After high school, BOBBY worked his way through university. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from The Philippine Women's University Quezon City by attending evening classes while working full-time at Quezon City Hall by day.

ABOUT THE SONG: BOBBY, BOBBY, BOBBY

BOBBY, BOBBY, BOBBY is one of the Most Popular Songs in the early Seventies in The Philippines. It was recorded by VILMA SANTOS. In fact, it became the Signature Song of VILMA SANTOS aside from the song SIXTEEN.

It was in 1972 when Vicor Music Corporation took over VILMA's singing career and smartly went back to the original fun-loving carefree theme that suited Vilma's voice and made her a successful recording artist. With the guidance of Orly Ilacad, VILMA recorded original compositions that were light hearted, up-tempo and simple.

VILMA's Third Long Playing Album (after Sixteen & Sweet, Sweet Vilma) entitled SING, VILMA, SING arrived at the radio airwaves with the carrying single, BOBBY, BOBBY, BOBBY. Despite the declaration of Martial law in 1972, the album became another instant hit.

I lost some of my family pictures around 10 photo albums yata yon. Kaya itong na-saved ko pictures before I lose them eh ginawan ko na ng Video so my loved ones and long-time, new and future friends can see. Also para ma-remember ko rin kung sino ako just in case makalimot ako. I hope not.

  • It's really a Welcome Blast from the Past. I love watching it.

  • I love the song. I love Bobby! So cutie!

  • I also remember this song. Vilma sang it on her tv show before, "Santos, Mortiz and Associates".

  • Ang ganda ng video mo. I saw a Vilma movie on tv before where she played tomboy. I just didn't get the title, matagal na kasi. I don't know kung "Sweet, Sweet Love" nga yun. I can remember a scene where she surrendered her weapon to a security guard. Her weapon was a slingshot (yata).

  • What a joy ride down Memory Lane!

Bobby, Bobby, Bobby is one popular song for easy listeners in the early '70s. The song that is Synonymous to Vilma Santos.

    I love it!
